Fluorite

The name, fluorite,  comes from the Latin fluere, "to flow."  A reference to fluorite's use as a flux in smelting metallic ores.  It comes in a variety of colors including white, purple, blue, green, yellow, brown, blue, pink and colorless.

Lore

Fluorite is a protection stone thought to defend the user from psychic attack.

An emotional and spiritual enhancer, fluorite can transmute negative energy into positive, turmoil to calm and anger to serenity.
