Uvarovite
Uvarovite is named for Count S.S. Uvarov, a Russian statesman and famed gem collector. This vibrant green member of the garnet group is generally found as an encrustation on it's host material, as such it is often used as a druse in the gem trade. Lore Uvarovite is a stone of imagination. "Wear uvarovite if you are in the field of writing, whether it be factual, fiction, or television and movie scripts. It draws inspiration and helps give you access to new ideas."1 "It bestows peace, quiet, and solitude - without loneliness. It promotes clarity in the mental processes, stimulates the heart chakra, and provides for enhancement of relationships via the fusion of the souls - one purpose, one mind." 2
